Project Summary

I designed a concept for an AI-powered mock interview platform aimed at helping job seekers prepare through real-time, simulated interviews and instant feedback. The primary goal was to craft a user-friendly, visually engaging interface that supports interview readiness without increasing stress or cognitive load.

Problem Statement

Job seekers often lack interactive tools for realistic mock interviews with instant feedback. Existing platforms are either too generic or not engaging enough

Proposed Solution

Design a quick, intuitive interface for an AI-powered mock interview platform that simulates real interview flow, provides instant feedback, and allows users to edit their responses to improve through repeated practice

Design

Because of limited time, we focused on quick user research and competitor analysis to understand your needs, then moved straight into designing a solution that works for you

On this screen, users can start their mock interview, enable their microphone, turn the camera on, and manage other settings

During the mock interview, users have the option to stop the session at any time. They can also restart questions or edit their answers, allowing them to practice multiple times and improve their responses.

After answering, users can move to the next question manually or wait for the timer to run out, which auto-advances to the next one. They can also stop the interview at any point and exit the platform

It's a voice-based interview system where students speak their answers. The system turns their voice into text and shows it on the screen, while also recording the audio for review

In this interview system, each question has a time limit that you can see on the screen. After answering, you can listen to your recording and make changes if needed before submitting make it human centric

Once you finish the interview, you’ll be able to see your score. This gives you a clear idea of how you did and helps you understand where you can improve for next time

The analysis screen shows your answers, how long you took, and how strong your knowledge is. Most importantly, it shows your score so you can see what you did well and what to improve

It also lets you see the customer's recorded answers and detailed reports comparing their responses to the correct answers. Plus, you get the suggested correct answers for reference

Result

The detailed review of customer responses on the mock interview platform helps users identify their strengths and weaknesses. This insight enables them to improve their knowledge and better prepare for their future careers

Project Challenges

We have very little time to build this platform, so we need to work fast to make it easy and reliable for users. This short time makes it hard to test everything well and give quick, helpful feedback. But we want to make sure it still helps users prepare better for their interviews
